Christian Louboutin Snorkeling 100 Boots: Bizarre or Fashion-Forward?
I understand that the 2012 Summer Olympics is on its way and that a lot of people have been talking about it lately. Still, I am surprised when I saw the Christian Louboutin Snorkeling 100 Boots. I didn’t expect a luxurious footwear designer would actually go with the season’s athletic trend.

And it looks like he has gone quite too far with it. Well honestly, I find this very interesting. Just like what its name suggests, these boots seem to have taken inspiration from scuba diving. It even looks quite similar to the shoes scuba divers wear!

Interesting enough, its silhouette is modern but its combination of neon colors is so retro. Yellow neoprene material is combined with neon pink patent leather and with white leather trimming, which indeed show a retro look! This also features a ring detail at the front for added style. Moreover, I so love the open round toe with toe post.

By the way, the neon pink heel measures about 4.5 inches, and it’s high enough to boost your height.
These Christian Louboutin Snorkeling 100 Boots cost $895 via Net-A-Porter. What do you think? Would you shell out almost $900 bucks for this pair? I love the idea of these boots and I also love the pop of brightness this could give to an outfit; I just don’t think the neoprene material could work perfectly under a hot weather.
What are your thoughts?
